Description

Slip Resistance Coating – 8 ounce

Apply Slip Resistance Coating to treat floors and surfaces susceptible to accidents from a slip or fall. It features a fine aggregate, similar to 200 grit sandpaper which is almost invisible to the eye, but still addresses floor safety.

This eco-friendly slip resistance coating contains extremely low VOC’s, and has no fumes or odors.  Apply easily with a paint brush, paint roller or low pressure airless spray.

An 8 ounce container of Slip Resistance Coating can provide protection over approximately 20-22 square feet depending on the nature of the surface. Stir or shake the container vigorously to mix well prior to use. The targeted surface should be free of dirt, debris and oil or grease, prior to application.

The coating goes on easily and dries to a clear glossy finish. One coat is usually sufficient. However, if a second coat is required, wait until the first coat is thoroughly dry.  Allow 24 hours or more for full cure before subjecting the surface to heavy traffic. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°F or above 90°F. Avoid heavy buildup, puddling and overlapping.

Cleaning

Due to its textured nature, Slip Resistance Coating, will attract and hold dirt and oils if not cleaned regularly.  Surfaces treated with slip resistance coating may be cleaned daily with mops or nylon bristle brushes and standard liquid floor cleaners. Clean your treated floor, tub or other surface periodically as needed with a soft to medium nylon bristled brush or push broom using a non-solvent based cleaner/degreaser.

DO NOT clean slip resistance coated surfaces with highly abrasive tools such as Scouring Pads, Motorized Rotary Cleaning Devices, Abrasive Sponges, Burnishing Devices, Steel Brushes, Diamond Pads, Sandpapers or other Buffing Devices. Over abrasion will damage the surface of the coating, removing the non-slip textured aggregate and damaging the surface appearance. DO NOT use Harsh Chemical Solvents to clean as they may damage or remove the coating.
